I believe the best things in life happen when we feel aligned and fully ourselves. This is exactly my mission for brides — striking the balance of undeniably bridal and authentically yourself, while using artistic designs and luxurious fabrics. 

I have always felt a connection to music and dance, and believe that music is a beautiful form of self-expression. We all have outlets or interests that make us feel alive and excited. The perfect gown will do the same to you— it will spark something in you. Maybe you’ll cry, or maybe you’ll be like me and have a subtle, yet sure, feeling of comfort finding a wedding dress that feels like your beautiful, unique self. 

I remember shopping for my wedding dress with my mom, sister, and Abuelita, and thinking to myself “I would love to work in bridal!” What felt like a far-off dream back then has now come to life! I found the perfect dress with my favorite women by my side, and for that I will always be grateful. I also experienced some moments that were less than ideal, and I knew in my heart that bridal experiences should be improved for future brides. Fast forward 7 years later and I was blessed with the opportunity to meet the retiring owner of The Bridal Loft to see if this would be a good fit for her to pass the torch and for myself to recognize the learning to come. 

I jokingly say that my “previous life” was in higher education. I worked at LSU and UWF celebrating student milestones, creating life moments for family members, and empowering students to step into their confidence as young adults. And now I am honored to do the same exact thing — but for brides! I care deeply about every bride that we serve. I care about the vision she has for her big day, the people she brings with her to her appointment, and that she feels heard and loved through our experience. We are not just stylists, although fashion is a fun element of what we specialize in! Our craft is to gain a deep understanding of each bride and help express her individually unique personality and story. 

Love is at the core of who we are. Empowering brides to dare to express themselves is the honor of a lifetime. We renamed the bridal store to Dare Bridal Boutique in June 2025, as it is reflective of our modern spirit, experience, and hopes that we have for every bride to dare to express herself. We believe that bold love never goes out of style and that we can find your perfect dress!
